Costumecenterusa :: Tips for choosing best halloween costumes

Holloween is traditionally celebrated on the night of October 31st every year. The highlight of Halloween activities are ghost tours, bon fires, haunted house and above all – costume parties. Apart from USA, the other western countries that observe Halloween are Ireland, Canada, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, New Zealand and certain parts of Australia. With Halloween approaching fast, most of the people will be excitedly discussing Halloween costume they desire to wear for this year’s event. There is the inexpensive Spirit Ghost costume. Just get hold of an old or waste sheet, cut holes inside it, draw on some handcuffs, spider web, etc. using a marker to make it look more authentic. The Archangel costume can be done using a sheet cloth for the spirit, spew it frivolously by scattering some paint and allow it to dry. Make an aura with the divisions of clothes hangers enclosed with aluminum foil.

You can wear the costume of a clown by using either extra-large or far too tiny clothes and wear a cap made with building paper and decorate it absurdly with flowers, pins, etc to provoke laughter. Wear the costume of a traveler by wearing bright clothes, camera, cap, maps and travel guides sticking out of each pocket, carrying a water bottle. Look like a princess and you may even use one of mother’s pretty old slips. You could further get glossy net available at any online Halloween costume store. Two or three yards stitched at the bottom semi of the slip would make an awesome billowy skirt. Take a long span of it twofold and wrap around the shoulders and fasten it with an eye-catchy pin. Old family jewels would certainly provide the awesome finishing touch. If it suits your personality, dress like a warrior or huntsman.

Most of us are aware of disguise clothing, just part together no matter what mixture you desire and splash some cover paint on the face. Change you sex and wear a dress typically worn by a person of opposite gender. This will make it amusing for all and many will chuckle. But before you do it, you must also change your physical appearance with the aid of cosmetics. Dressing up as an infamous but well-known murderer or like a serial killer in a public place, especially in an airport, may not be a good idea. Equally undesirable will be wearing the costume and all the paraphernalia of a suicide bomber. You may be arrested if you frighten passers by or create law and order problems.

It may sound amusing to wear the costume of a flasher but any bold exposure will attract the indecency laws. When a man from Florida wearing nothing but a trench coat flashed the women as he passed through the terminal, he was immediately arrested. It is a good idea to wear the uniform of a police officer. But impersonating a law enforcement officer is illegal no matter even if you are in a festive mood and celebrating an event. To wear the look of Osama bin Laden may certainly be funny at any in-house party but not for venturing out in public.

On Halloween, most airline crew members are allowed to wear a costume to work. Some costumes are elaborate and well thought out, while others look like a last-minute throw-together. Sometimes passengers get into the spirit and dress up as well. Every year there is someone — a passenger or a crew member — who takes dress-up a little too far. A passenger thought it would be an intelligent idea and come to the airport dressed up as a pilot and hit the bars a few hours before his flight. He met several passengers and frightened them saying he was their pilot. He wasn’t breaking any rules, and security was immediately alerted and made sure he was removed from the airport.
